Time & Beef Launch

Guess what makes me happier than Fridays...BURGERS! After a long week, I excitingly made my way across the bridge to the launch of Time&Beef in Canton, a new burger joint that was so needed in this part of Cardiff.

Situated just a step off the bus stop on Cowbridge Road East, it only took me seconds to find my way to it, with its warm and inviting decor. It's times like this I remember why I blog, Cardiff has so much to offer, supporting local produce and restaurants is a must because especially in this city, I haven't ever fallen in love with anything commercial.

Heyaaaa my beautiful readers, guess where I went when I took time off from work yesterday morning? You guessed it Barbados...the GRAZING SHED!!! 

Voted No.1 Burger Joint in Wales and being only a stones throw from work means that over the last couple months it has become part of my staple diet.

Shake(Shack) it out

In case you didn't get it, I am making reference to one of my Queens of music Florence Welsh...anyway back to the point, as promised, after countless post work meals here, it's time for the Shake Shack verdict!

Guys it feels like ageeees since I have blogged, I miss having a quiet evening in bed with a Yankee Candle giving me the right amount of motivation and energy in between the busy life that us Cardiff dwellers lead. But it was lovely recently courtesy of Nina to have a little blogger gathering and finally getting to meet up properly with Ruth. Guys if you haven't already, you must check out their blogs! I honestly get inspired reading so many awesome blogs from Cardiff these days, my other favourites (might as well say it now) are these girls Sophie, Jade and WGP..happy reading!

Lets try this again, shall we! Don't get me wrong, having tried Shake Shack in Covent Garden, the pre Christmas news of  their opening in Cardiff had me buzzing! As expected it didn't disappoint. St Davids were brilliant to choose the location near the exit, for people like me, working in the city, as this means not having to walk around the mall to get in and out quickly.

One of the most common things people say to me after they view my Instagram is ask where my favourite food places are around Cardiff.  What I love about this city is that it has always provided me with a good place to eat for every occasion which I now would love to share with you! Those of you who know me know that much like how a mother can't differentiate her children, the same I feel about my favourite food places in every city, this just comes from the fact that I am more of a loyally returning customer than a experimenter. Hence I would like to say before I start, that my ranking here is solely for the purpose of an order rather than my satisfaction level.

Early last month I managed to make a wonderful trip across the continent to Copenhagen. In short I loved everything about it, the extremely naturally beautiful folk, the dark colour fashion and obviously the food!
